BLACK SABBATH: LAWSUITS, REISSUES, FILM AND A COOL GEEZER VIDEO

The news with Black Sabbath hasn't been great lately: Ozzy Osbourne is suing Tony Iommi, because Tony owns the band name and Ozzy (and probably Sharon) don't like that. This is probably about to escalate, because Tony is working with a guy named Mike Fleiss on a "Black Sabbath" horror film franchise. (Fleiss has worked on the Hostel films). Tony also is going to need major surgery on his hand - years of playing has damaged it and he needs to get it fixed before it's too late.

In better news, Warner Brothers in the UK has released a deluxe edition of Sabbath's classic debut album, which, according to the great Black Sab fan site www.black-sabbath.com, is worth the money.

That same site - which I am a big fan of - also called attention to this video that Geezer Butler did for PETA.
