AEROSMITH IN THE SADDLE WITH BRENDAN O'BRIEN

Last year, I told you that Aerosmith is finally hitting the studio to record a new album. Well, it turns out that they are making the album with Brendan O'Brien, which is great news. Brendan did a great job with AC/DC on Black Ice, and he doesn't go for the trendy stuff that Aerosmith sometimes veers towards in the name of seeming current. I wonder how that will work, he's also supposed to be producing the next Pearl Jam album, and supposedly he is going to oversee the deluxe reissues of Vs., Vitalogy and No Code. Anyway, hopefully this will result in a great album. By the way, I loved Aerosmith's latest album, 2004's album of blues and R&B covers, Honkin' on Bobo, it's awesome.
