MORE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN NEWS

So, now that Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played the Harley fest over the weekend, there are no more scheduled dates. But, as Backstreets reports, Bruce left the stage (after more than three hours and closing with "Born To Be Wild") by saying "Thank you, we'll be seeing you... we're only just getting started!"

I wonder what that means? Of course, there are rumors of Bruce and the band closing Yankee Stadium, and I don't think anyone would be surprised if they hit the road to support Barack Obama (although Bruce may do that solo, as he did for John Kerry). And there's the rumors that there may be a new album coming out, and that the band may tour to support that album.

Meanwhile, Backstreets also says that Bruce has a new song coming out on Darren Aronofsky's upcoming film The Wrestler. (I'm a fan of his movie Pi, and Requiem For A Dream was great but I won't watch that one again...) Also mentioned is that Judd Apatow is writing a small Bruce scene into his upcoming flick, but that's a bit hard to believe. Then again, Bruce did cameo in High Fidelity.
